As a member of the Bethel Police Commission, I am motivated to build meaningful connections with our police force, our community, and to further strengthen the relationship between the two. Furthermore, after taking courses in law and political science in WCSU, I am eager to learn more about the procedures of planning and zoning, department budgeting, and recruitment.

Why are you running?

Throughout my time in Bethel Public Schools, I struggled with learning disabilities and social anxiety. With the help of many teachers and guidance counselors, I was able to persevere and now I would love the opportunity to give back to my hometown. I consider public service a tremendous next step forward.

I believe I can relate to many young voters, and I hope to see a more progressive and prosperous America for our future generations.

Biography

I was born in Stamford but my family and I moved to Bethel in 2004. I was only four years old at the time so I consider Bethel my true hometown where I built my earliest memories, friendships, and connections. After 21 years of embracing and appreciating the beauty and serenity of our town, I am very blessed and grateful to have grown up here.

I have been working at Trader Joe’s of Danbury since February 2022 and I appreciate every chance I get to connect with our fellow New Englanders and neighbors from New York. I also have experience as a dining room server at Meadow Ridge Senior Living of Redding, a cashier at Stew Leonard’s, and a Computer Center Assistant for WCSU’s Information Technology department.

Throughout my freshman year of WCSU, I served as a senator for the Student Government Association, where I learned a great deal about the legislative process, event planning, and community outreach.

I spent much of my subsequent years at WCSU volunteering for the Program Activities Council and the Rotaract Club.
