- Restoring funding for the Bethel Public Schools budget, which was unjustly reduced by the current Board of Finance.
- Increase funding for the Bethel Public Library to support its vital role in our community.
- Ensuring sufficient funding to maintain and enhance our town’s infrastructure.
Why are you running?
I am running for the Board of Finance to ensure that the town of Bethel provides a fully funded school budget that serves students, teachers, and families effectively. During the 2025 budget proceedings, the current Board of Finance made significant cuts to the school budget. These cuts not only harmed many families who rely on full-day preschool and before- and after-school programs, but they also created uncertainty for teachers regarding their employment. We need a Board of Finance that can deliver a comprehensive school budget that maintains essential programs for families and offers stability for our educators. In a time when the Federal government is reluctant to fund infrastructure and social services across the nation, it’s important that local municipalities like Bethel can navigate through and insulate against economic uncertainties. I believe I can meaningfully contribute to that effort as a member of the Board of Finance
