Patrick Morton will bring important local experience to the Police Commission. He is a firefighter, an EMT, and Lieutenant of the Bethel Volunteer Fire Department’s Fire Police. He has worked closely with the Police Department in his 36 years as a member of the Bethel Volunteer Fire Department, where, in addition to serving as an EMT and Fire Lieutenant, he also served as the Past President and Trustee.
He is a life-long Bethel resident with significant experience with local organizations. He is currently Chairperson of the Parks and Recreation Commission. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Mary’s, the Bethel Volunteer Fire Department Museum Co-Director, and a Brotherhood in Action volunteer.
He is a disabled US Navy Veteran, a retired USPS letter carrier in Bethel, and a part time Senior Aide at the Bethel Senior Center. As a retired Bethel resident, he is ready to devote his time to meeting the needs of the Police Commission.
