Molly Dorries

Headshot of Molly DorrieTop Priorities

  • Responsible development and strategic planning are the keys to Bethel’s future.
  • Our town deserves a Planning & Zoning Commission that balances the needs of residents with town resources and the Connecticut requirements.
  • Decisions that are made today have a lasting impact on the future of Bethel.

Why are you running?

I have built my career at the nexus of policy, advocacy, and research. My experience training people around the country about how to lift their voices in support of local, state, and federal policies has inspired me to run for office.

I look forward to participating in different types of community activities in Bethel as my kids get older.

Biography

My family and I moved to Bethel in January 2025. While we are new to town, I grew up in Canton, CT, and am proud of being from Connecticut. I look forward to meeting more folks in Bethel, and continuing to establish myself and my family (husband Joshua, 3 year old Theo, and newborn Olivia) in town.
